So, they order the clarification or the documents and they set that waiver aside until they have the needed information in their hands. They they go back to that waiver.

In the meantime, while they are waiting for documents on that waiver, they go onto the next one. The next one may have all the information needed, and may be a very strong waiver packet that can be approved right away with no additional documents or information needed.

When you ask what month they are working on, they typically give the month of the oldest waiver that has not been adjudicated yet, even though they may also be working on much later dated waivers. This is one reason why they seem to be out of order.
How sure are you about this??????

Have you all considered that the approval might have been an expedite? While I am thrilled that they are working on cases more quickly I am rather shocked that they would jump that far ahead. An expedite makes perfect sense as to why a March 2011 case is being approved.

And canela22, I know that it is easy for someone to say what the intentions of the adjucation process are when we aren't in the backlog hell that you are. There really is an overall process but we can all agree that we wouldn't wish anyone there. I'm sorry that this is so hard for you.
Just getting started? Here are some guides to help you learn more about the process:

^^ i've asked about that TSK... because then that would "end the discussion" plain and simple. Expedites would "solve" our dilemma and it would all make sense....... however i think i've read that these were not expedites (at least it wasn't posted)...but at least on some that info was posted - regular approval - no expedite... not just that one (the march)... but the december ones too... not expedites... but way out of order.... and all the transfers... there's even a transfer from feb...

i understand what pink said and it makes sense...but then when you look at who is and isn't getting any movement on their case.... it's like... i dunno.. i know there's a process.... but at face value - this all seems to be very unorganized on their part. I know i'm not in their office working... but i'm sure we all could figure out a better process to go in order than is actually being done right now!

not just from a selfish perspective either (our case) but for everyone else too... what appears to be "unorganization" is driving me insane... i wish i could be a little fly on the wall in their office to see how it really goes

i agree...regardless of order - any approval is good news...maybe the march one wasn't an expedite...but maybe God was looking after them and they just "needed" the approval sooner... who knows...i'm happy for them, but then sad and frustrated for all those still waiting... like i think you said before in another thread - its much easier to "vent" and show the negative aspects of something rather than the positive...but when family's are at stake here - it just makes it that much easier for us all to vent... you know?
