Talking Backlogged waiver form march 2010 approved!

Someone just posted on another forum similar to this one( CDJ) that their backlogged waiver was approved !( Backlogged on 03/11/10) Is it me or is the consulate now processing backlogged approvals at a much faster rate ( not to mention jumping back & forth in sequence)

Aack! They are messing with us by doing this. It seems like it's getting worse and not better (the processing out of order business)...

This is one possible reason why some waivers may be considered adjudicated "out of order."The way they process waivers is in chronological order. What happens as they work through the waivers is that some may need more clarification. Some may be waiting for additional documents. So, they order the clarification or the documents and they set that waiver aside until they have the needed information in their hands. They they go back to that waiver.

In the meantime, while they are waiting for documents on that waiver, they go onto the next one. The next one may have all the information needed, and may be a very strong waiver packet that can be approved right away with no additional documents or information needed.

When you ask what month they are working on, they typically give the month of the oldest waiver that has not been adjudicated yet, even though they may also be working on much later dated waivers. This is one reason why they seem to be out of order.

ok... so... for example... our waiver... January 2010 date. Between the two packets i have sent them, i *promise* they aren't waiting on any documentation from us. I have sent literally everything. We also have the CDC process done, months ago, and CDC sent their "endorsement" of our paperwork to CDJ in April. I have never gotten a letter or anything from them saying they need more documentation from us... So how did they "skip" over ours and get to some february and even march 2010 waivers??? I'm not trying to be a smart@#$ or anything, just asking - because seriously - i can't even imagine what they might need from us. Really really i sent them everything. And i even included a copy of the CDC "approval" letter in my last packet for assurances they got it. But i know they got it from CDC, they sent it to CDJ back in April....

So i'm still kind of confused... BUT super thanks for htat explanation... but that means allllllllllllllllllllllll the ones that have been "skipped" or set aside alll need some extra documents?

is it because we have the two inadmissibilities.... so for some stupid reason they "wait" on those too for torture???

I am happy for anyone approved, it is one less family separated or going through a living hell. However, their order of adjudicating it is really out of hand. I mean they are all over the place. I understand a few cases with missing stuff, but many have been skipped over. This wait is terrible as it is. But to have an idea of what order is expected & there to just not seem to be any consistency is really tough. I hope they finally get to the current time and have to clear out any & all backlogs! TO ALL waiting: Hang in there! System is anything but perfect, but they are at least working quickly and wait time is down considerably from the 15-18 months that it was before.

I know it sucks for them to be jumping around but what if these people are going thru a serious hardship like life threatening. We all want our love ones here but I am aware that there are husbands or wifes out there that are going thru a hard time maybe some serious health issues.
