    Shipping to Mexico within Mexico

Has anyone shipped from within Mexico using DHL or UPS?
We visited my hubby's family earlier this year. It was a very expensive trip that we had to do due to personal family circumstances.

There my daughter met her cousins that she can still not stop talking about. We took a few items for them when we went but not enough.
Since I came back i have been looking into sending a box full of items for them. They are such good kids and don't ask for anything even though they don't have much.

From all the options I see to send items its either ups, DHL etc but it is $$$$ or go with an individual company that delivers packages like Estafeta or a local busisness.
The issue is most of them have problems at customs with either the person picking up has to pay something or things end up "missing".

My parents will be going to Puerto Vallarta early next year, is it a good option to send the box with them and they can send it from within Mexico through DHL or UPS?
There should be no Customs and it should be a lot less. Is that something that can be done?

TIA and please share any other options.

The US postal service can be used ...like sending a letter (but a box) Insure it, its cheap
& I imagine anyway its sent they will be required a few $ to clear it, I would not put jewels
or electronic stuff in....Ask your local post office
