Should I send a copy of my waiver packet to the 485 adjudicator in Chicago field off?

So we filed the I-601 in country after being asked for it at the 485 interview. We send the forms and the waiver packet to the Chicago lockbox and got the receipt number from USCIS that starts with MSC( National benefit center).

I read somewhere where Ms. Scott, says that she sends the waiver packet to the local office adjudicating the 485 in addition to the lock box. My lawyer did not do anything like that. Should i be sending it to the local USCIS field office as well? Any ideas?

Since you filed I-601 in response to an RFE, the RFE should list the address where it should be sent.

Also, please note that immigration systems/policies change all of the time, so what was a good idea 2 years ago may not necessarily apply today. As long as your packet was turned into the correct place, you should be fine.
