    How long?

I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place but here it goes. My husband is now a USC and so we are petitioning for my in-laws who currently live in Mexico. We have already sent the I-130's and paid the fees and we have gotten the receipt back confirming they got it. Does anyone here know how long it takes for the next step or what the next step is. We sent this back in November 2016 and have yet to receive any updates. I've checked on the statuses online and still nothing. I know the process and timeline is different when petitioning for a relative rather than a spouse, but when we sent out the I-130 when we were petitioning for my hubby; it only took 3 months to get the next step's information. Any help is greatly appreciate!!

I'm waiting on an I130 approval and I filed in November as well. I am expecting to get a response within the next month or so. The instructions on the USCIS website can explain what's next. I haven't really looked into it much other than gathering some needed documents together.
