Nini89, thanks for all the info my husband has his appointment so I'm retiro get everything ready. By any game did they ask also for the Mexico police report ? They told us to go get it as soon as we get there. Also for who ever has gone what do you guys recommend my husband take all his papers in to the interview.

Hello, anyone know specifics on rules about tattoos, I have read some ask about them in the interview, others don't.

Typically they'll check out the tattoos during the medical exam. The rules are pretty simple, they need to be non-gang related. Unfortunately, what is considered gang related is sometimes relative and up to the person doing the exam, and getting the consulate to overturn a finding of such is almost impossible.

However, that being said, a tattoo in and of itself isn't means for a denial. My husband has one and had no problems at all during his interview process.

If you have any questions or doubts about a tattoo, see an attorney before leaving the US. You don't want to find out the hard way that you're banned for life.

Our attorney doesn't seem concerned, they def. aren't gang related, but wasn't sure if having any at all is concerning. Thanks for the info TSK 😆 My nerves have me worried about every little thing

Totally normal to be worried, but I know quite a few members on here whose spouses had tattoos and didn't have any problems. Good luck!

    In Juarez now, Have question

Hi all. My husband went to his interview today and was approved. I checked the ceac website and it shows printed. I then went to the us visa website and there is a selection that says" consular section instructed me to send more documents". If I click on it , it says requesting can have serious negative consequenses. That option was not there earlier. Does anyone know what it means?

DO NOT CLICK THAT BUTTON. That option shows up for everyone, and you would have been notified if you were supposed to click it.

Follow the instructions on the green paper he was given after he was approved at the interview. When it is available the waybill for the visa will show up under "Status" on the US Visa Info page. Are you waiting in CDJ or elsewhere? If in CDJ, the earliest it would likely show up would be this afternoon.
