Question Child Support in Another Country, Need to Show Proof? Or Irrelevant?

If a person that is illegal in the USA and wants to start processing to become legal through his marriage does he have to show proof that he is sending money to the woman he had a child with in his home country.

If it is required and the undocumented person in question has always discarded his receipts is there another way to show proof? He never thought receipts would be necessary once money was collected.

They were never married, just had a child together.

She is not in good standing with him since she had their child and would never sign any papers or write any letters for him.

He sends her money, but he is not allowed to talk or see (videos, pictures, video calls, etc) his child.

Processing for legal status does not require child support proof for a child abroad,
in the future he may want to send her the money by bank drafts & put child
support on it for any future proof that he may need (not to uscis) He should
also disclose he has a child in case he wants to petition the child in the future.
