    Thanks for all of the well wishes. We all have to stay strong. I have to say, when I feel I can't handle one more thing, when that one more thing comes along anyway, I handle it too. I guess we don't really know our own strength until we're pushed to our limits. I really hope this is our limit though.
    No tcordoba, I can't translate the items because it states it has to be done by a certified translator. 😢
    I am selecting everything​ that actually has my husband's name on it to translate, including his birth certificate, which I didn't originally have translated. That will be 10-15 documents for each year. 100-150 documents, probably 200 pages with multiple pages in rental agreements, etc. We'll see how much that will cost to translate & go from there. 😞

    05/2006 Left US for Visa interview in CDJ
    Denied Visa - Permanent bar - 10 yrs. until we can file waiver
    Lived together 6 mos. on 6 mos. off in Mexico
    Completely Relocated to TJ 11/2007 - Together Again


    We are praying for waiver reform as part of CIR.

    Thank you tcordoba, Yes, I did have a lawyer she translated everything. We didn't send a lot of evidence just a few. We had lots of letters from family members. now we have to wait for the counselor to contact us. Does anyone know if we have to contact the counselor?

    Timeline: April 14, 2016 USCIS received waiver
    May 20, 2016 transferred to lee sumitt missiouri
    December 21, 2016 transferred to Chicago field office
    June 2017 I contacted my congressman about our case congressman got involved. Did not receive any answer we just had to wait. My lawyer send a letter to the Chicago field office.
    July 19, 2017 approved
