Thanks Becky, I think so too but I wanted to know if perhaps there were more and how long it took for them to get approved if they did get approved. Do you happen to know when they started to adjudicate 601 waivers at the Nebraska Service Center?

as per laura chat on 04-18-12
"""Laurel: About 350 waiver cases were selected at random from USCIS offices abroad to be sent through the Lockbox and then the Nebraska Service Center. The purpose is to test out the new procedures for Lockbox filing, which is now expected to start in June. Of the 350 cases, 300 are from Ciudad Juarez and the other 50 total are from San Salvador, Tegucigalpa, Panama City, Accra and Delhi. They have already been sent. As I said, they were selected at random. You cannot request your case to be one of them. You will know you are one of the 350 if/when you get a receipt notice either from Pheonix or Nebraska. DO NOT MAKE AN INQUIRY NOW ASKING IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE 350. That is unnecessary and will slow down the progress of the government's work. If you were selected, you will receive the notice in 2-4 weeks. If you are one of the lucky few, you can expect your case to be adjudicated faster than normal, probably in 1-3 months as there is currently no backlog in Nebraska.""""

Yeah, I had seen that. But I am not from Ciudad Juarez, San Salvador, Tegucigalpa, Panama City, Accra OR Delhi!!!

This is whay I am wondering why I am there and what the deal is and how much time I can expect it to take.

I am also wondering how long they have been processing 601's there; have they been doing it for a while, or they just started to process cases there since they decided to do this lockbox procedure.

My case was transfered there on May 15th, today online it now say something a little different. It now says: "The I212 APPLICATION TO REENTER AFTER DEPORTATION was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you"

So I am assuming that as of this afternoon my literally arrived at the Nebraska Service Center...
