We make it trough NVC

Finally, it take us 3 months to make it through NVC, we finally did it, after calling and calling and sending documents.... it was exhausting, Now just wondering.... How we are going to know when is our first appointment?, How long is going to take until they let us know? and also if anyone know if we can re-schedule the first interview? my Mom's birthday is August 5th and I was hopping to be able to there by the day or sooner, any way thanks to all of you for your help.....

Just wanted to say Congrats on tackling the NVC we're just beginning this phase..and good luck on ur appt.!! keep us posted! I'm figuring u should get an appt. within the next 1-2months??

Although I don't know from personal expierence, I have seen where other posters have rescheduled appointments. Best of Luck

I've seen ppl getting their appointment within a month hopefully you are one of the lucky ones!!!

Hello Alekx07, on my case after sending lots of docs and calling almost everyday, my case closed at NVC June 2011, and a month later I got the email stating my appt date for July14, usually its a month after case closing. Usually you get an email and a letter too, get your packet ready for your first interview, I know you already sent everything electronically but you should take the originals with you, also you have to schedulle an appt at the ASC in Ciudad Juarez for fingerprints. good luck & God Bless.
