Question N400 waiver fee approved then DENIED !!! ( asking for payment)

A quick question for all of you.
Had interview, i passed both written civics and oral test. I applied for a fee waiver and was approved, then i got a notice after i had my interview saying i MUST paid the $680.00 NOTHING else !!!

I am confused and really running out of time. only 22 days to pay in full.
Should i start a new case? or should i pay and HOPE to be approved then ?

Any other people in same situation. I need advise please.

At this point I would consult with an attorney (many on our recommended list offer consultations for free). Or you can ask in the weekly chat on Wednesdays - if you can't attend you can post your question here and have someone post it for you in the chat. You can check the chat transcripts on Wednesday to see if they were able to answer your question. Not sure what the best option is for you, but I would hate for you to miss the deadline!

I think in this case starting with INFOPASS might be a good plan. Take the approval notice for the fee waiver to the appointment with you. USCIS makes errors all the time and some are easily fixed.

Did they give any explanation about the reversal in decision?

I agree with an infopass appt. We made an infopass appt when our I90 was taking forever and my husbands stamp in his passport was going to expire, they were very helpful and actually got things done. Also, you can usually get appts fairly quick (atleast in immigration time )
