As of 03.01.2011, CDJ is requesting K visa applicants to fill out web-based Form DS-260 and schedule an ASC fingerprint and visa interview appointment. K visa applicants can actually pay the visa fee online as well at mexico.usvisa-info.com (something like that) and not just at a Banamex location. Oh my, this is a lot of changes to sink in, discuss.

So we are filing a K3/K4 then? OK, thanks. I really was not sure what we were filing. I only know which forms we have to fill out and send in. Does that make sense or should I just go to bed now? LOL!!

That is a very good question because my answer needs more explanation. LOL! I should be the one in bed right now but for some reasons, Nyquil isn't working. No, you are filing for IR1 immigrant visa. We did the K3 approach because this visa is supposed to shorten the family separation but USCIS has misused the adjudication. Luckily, our waiver was approved immediately, I couldn't thanked the lady adjudicator enough in CDJ. I still include her in my prayers whoever she is!

Gosh, I need to go to bed.

Wow. I did not realize it's 75 pages long. I'm glad I did not have to do that. You may have to fill that out Ana, somewhere down the road.

Does anyone know how long this process is taking once the DS-260 is submitted?
