I received a letter in the mail advising that I have my fingerprinting appointment set for 12/16/10 (I'm so excited that I'm one step closer), what will be the next step after the fingerprinting?
FYI- I am in a removal proceeding and I also have a court hearing coming up in January

-Met hubby in Jan/08
-Got caught by ICE at the border in April/08, and I was release from ICE without being detain and given a court hearing for Oct/08.
-I had to have a change of venue (long story) to change my court hearing to NY..
-May 2009 we had our baby boy
-July 2009 called NY court to find out why I have not received new court hearing info and I found out that a ruling was made for me to be deported , so I got a lawyer and paid her $1200 to have my case reopen.
-Got married to my hubby in Sept/2009 while waiting for case to be reopened
-Case was reopen Nov/2009
-Feb/2010 filed I-130
-Received NOA receipt March 2010
-Went to Master hearing on March 9, 2010 and was granted another change of venue back to Boston where I live with my husband and now I'm just waiting for my new court hearing at the Boston court and waiting for my I-130 approval.
- Had my 2nd Master Hearing April 13th, 2010 in Boston and was granted a continuance so that I could obtain a lawyer.
- re-hired my lawyer that I had in NY and I have another Master Hearing July 13th, 2010 and I also received a email on June 21st from USCIS that my case was transferred to the local office for interview so now i'm just :waiting
-August 20th/2010 received from local USCIS office advising of I-130 interview on Sept 21st and I am sooooooo excited and anxious
- received APPROVAL NOTICE on October 6th - BUT not able to adjust status until IJ cancel my removal at my court hearing Jan 2011
-In the meantime my lawyer filed I-485 with the service center... check was cashed by USCIS on 11/17/10 so i will be receiving NOA in the mail soon, just in time for my Jan 2011 hearing.
- Received ASP Notice letter for fingerprinting on 12/16/10
