How long does it take for your case to clear nvc?

So we have submitted last paper work and paid all the fees. How long does it take from turning in the last forms and your case to get cleared in NVC? I tried to find a thread on time it takes, but times seem to change. Also after case is cleared how long for an actual appointment? I understand things can come up or for some reason it could take longer or shorter. I really just need an estimate because I have no idea! Thanks.

    Hi Jeannie,

Our case took 7 weeks from the day we submitted all the paperwork until it was closed. We also had to send some additioinal paperwork in that was missing. I'm still waiting to hear about my interview date, but it will probably be sometime late January or early February (about 2 months from when my case closed at the NVC). I think the times can vary, but hopefully this is helpful.

    Good luck!
