Some pics from our time in Mexico

Hi Everyone, I thought I would post some pictures from the time we spent in my husband's town on the Sonora/Sinaloa border while we were preparing for our second appointment.

This is the store. My husband's godfather also operates a leather business out front.
    Our timeline so far:
January 2008: hubby and I get married
After a lot of bad advice, and a false start w/an immigration "expert" I finally find I2US, read everything I can, and eventually begin the process.
May 14th, 2010- first appointment, eligible!
July 15th - waiver appointment in CDJ
July 20th- DHL arrives. Approved! Thank you so much I2US.

Nice pics! Honeycomb, delicious!!! My grandfather use to have a bee farm and will give us the honeycomb to suck out the honey but we had to chew the comb and spit it in a cazo and he would make candles!!

The honey was delicious. It was the first time I had it like that.

I was such a baby (homesick) when I was there but I'm also so glad I went because it was good for me, and I got to know the family much better.

Yeah, I am 5'2'' and hubby is around 6'3''! Major height difference. He's a big teddy bear though. The only thing that is hard is dancing because I'm too short and don't know how to walk in heels, let alone dance in them. LOL.

Great pics! It's interesting to see how different everyone's experience is in Mexico! My hubby is from a small city in central Mex so it's a lot different! It looks beautiful there...

    Beautiful, thanks for sharing.

You and your hubby make a very cute couple. He most certainly looks like a norteno!
All I can promise is that my intentions are good.

I am a U.S. citizen by birth, married to a man born in Mexico. He received his legal permanent residence visa in June of 2006 through my sponsorship and became a proud US citizen on November 18, 2009. We did not utilize the services of an attorney during any point in our immigration and naturalization journey. Although we were successfull without legal counsel, I would not advise anyone to make such a decision without very careful consideration. Every case is different and what was right for us and our case might not be the best choice for you and yours. Click here to view the details of our case.
