I say this for two reasons. The first is so that he can take care of her and the children. The second is the MOST important. If there is a pending waiver case and she dies, the father will have no way to get back as children aren't qualifying relatives for waivers. If none of this applies then please forgive me.

Now, I'm so very sorry for your family. My cousin died of ovarian cancer this year, and I do cancer testing in the lab where I work. I'm reminded to be thankful for my life every single day. I hope that she will be surrounded by love and comfort during her final time on this earth. I'll keep your entire family in my prayers.
Thank you Momof1 and sorry to hear about your cousin. Thanks God their immigration status is fine. My husband and him went to Hajj. This was a promise that my husband had set if he was allowed to come back to the USA. They have been trying to come back but it has been difficult to find tickets. In sha allah they will be back Monday or Tuesday next week. This have made the situation a little more difficult for all of us. I was lucky I had taken some days off for Eid so I have been taking care of the girls. Its just been very stressful.

So sorry! I will keep all of you in my prayers. It is very difficult to go through this, I went through this with my Uncle this year. I can only say support her, be there in all that she needs and the children specially. They kind of get put on hold because the priority is the person that is sick. It is a shame with her small children. It is a miserable situation all around. There aren't words that make a difference. But I will pray for the best and for God to give you all the strength you need to get through this.
