Nicaragua timeline for Claro

2003: EWI and met
November 2009: Returned to Nicaragua to be married
February 2010: Married in Nicaragua
April 2010: Filed I-130
January 3, 2011: Interview date. Need police reports.
January 24, 2011: Police reports and Visa accepted. Need waiver for EWI. Waiver ready but missing the form G-325A.
January 26, 2011: I-601 Waiver and G-325A accepted by Nicaraguan consulate.
March 11: Informed that waiver package cannot be located.
On the March list and waiting
January 30: Received approval letter (January 17) in the mail from Honduras and package sent back to Managua.
March 2: After turning in all requested updated papers husband told by Managua consulate that his VISA should be ready to be picked up on this date but they never called him so still waiting.
March 26: still waiting for call from Managua saying the VISA is ready to be picked up.... at this point I have not seen him for 7 months...

March 27,2012: picked up VISA!!!! Told it was ready March 22.
March 29, 2012: received an email from the consulate saying he was issued the wrong VISA. He was issued a CR-1 but should have been issued an IR VISA since we have been married over 2 years.
