    Begining Photography Tips!!

I got a new camera a few months back for when my husband and I took a road trip from where we live (Guanajuato, Mexico to Guatemala).

The pictures turned out great, however I feel like I was cheating myself a little bit using "automatic" and other settings SO much!

Does anyone have some good resources on begining photography? It is hard to find books here so if there are any good online sources that would be awesome!

My camera is a Nikon D3000 with a 18-55mm lense.

    Thanks for any ideas!

youtube is a great source of information. I suggest you understand the basics of photography. The concept of lens aperture, shutter speed and ISO sensitivity. Today's digital cameras make it very easy to get great pictures without the technical understanding of what you are doing.
