    With fingers I am posting my timeline hoping it brings me some good luck as I am waiting on my next lateral move in this process. I am expecting to receive our CDC paperwork any time now this month. So it will be really nice when that happens - I have something to update!!

    November 2006 ~ Met husband
    December 8, 2007 ~ Wedding day!
    April 1, 2008 ~ started the process & sent I-130
    April 10, 2008 ~ Receipt notice for I-130
    November 20, 2008 ~ I-130 approved that felt like such a long
    September 1, 2009 ~ Sent DS-230 & I-864
    September 3, 2009 ~ Daughter was born
    September 17, 2009 ~ Rec'd "Missing Documents" letter from NVC (lawyer did not send all paperwork with DS-230)
    September 22, 2009 ~ Sent the "missing documents"
    October 8, 2009 ~ Received Visa Interview letter
    November 1, 2009 ~ Husband left for Mexico
    November 9, 2009 ~ Visa Interview appointment & eligible for waiver
    January 19, 2010 ~ First Waiver Appt .... AUTO BACKLOG-2 DWIs (HSL & Health waivers)

    October 19, 2010~Consulate called-ALL evidence is missing! Recopied my 9lb file LOL & UPS'd it to CDJ!
    October 27, 2010~(expedite) APPROVED ....and without the assistance of a lawyer for the I-601

    Yes it's minor.... but it's a minor victory for me!!!

    October 19, 2010 ~ Consulate called - ALL evidence is missing! Recopied my 9lb file and UPS'd it overnight to Juarez - NOT El Paso. Our case was actually at some point transferred to Vermont. Never recieved a transfer letter. Vermont also temporarily misplaced our entire file. Box was too big I guess!
    October 29, 2010 ~ APPROVED through Vermont and thanks to Grace and all her hard work for us!! ........ and the entire I-601 waiver process was done without the assistance of a lawyer
    Today ~ for our approval letter and appointment letters to come in the mail!
