    Free microchip & lifetime registration

These coupons are available at PetSmart for their Banfield Vet Clinic. I was unable to find any printable ones online.

One can also call their local animal shelters and rescue groups on where a good price is for microchipping their pets possibly without any office charges.

This is a must anyway but especially during the holidays when there's so much activity.

Please remember to always keep your info current on your pet's registration. Also, add a phone number other than your own that you know is a permanent number. I've heard many registrations are not kept up-to-date. That's one roadblock when one has a lost pet.

    Coupon reads as:

Already have a microchip? Bring in a coupon an receive 1/2 off an office visit and physical exam for your pet.

CSC: Manually adjust off FREE microchip, for 1/2 off office visit use PW #13542.

New and existing clients welcome. Not valid with any other coupon offer. Office call fee applies. Local aesthetic may be required. Expires 12/30/09.

Regardless of the company that your microchip is registered by...realize that you can change it to Avid, Home Again or whichever you prefer. I've been researching the different ones and I'm of the decision to have mine registered with Home Again. The representatives are much nicer than Avid's and I don't like the fact that Avid told me that they charge $6 to update the owner's contact information/address/phone each time.

Home Again also has the 500 mile free shipping if your pet is found that many miles away and also they can connect you to the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center free of charge. But, these are offered only if you pay the $20ish per year. At any rate, after much comparison, it's definitely Home Again. Forget Avid. I don't care for them at all.
