Hey all. Just so you know, CBP theoretically should issue your FOIA with just a letter. However, they have recently begun to demand a G-639 form. I know, I know, there is no reason for them to and they did not before. I would fill one out and send it just to avoid delays.

While I am an immigration attorney none of the above should be construed as legal advice but is simply a recitation of law or past experience. You should always consult with an attorney before acting on your case.

Never let go of hope. One day you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself... 'How did I get through all of that?”

I have a ques on the FBI fingerprints. We are gonna do them ourselves by printing a paper off the website. Should we include like to forms just in case one set is not good enough? (to save time from them sending it back saying do it again.)

Just for everyone's information. The FBI fingerprints deal isn't taking 6-9 months as before. My friends just did theirs and the results came back in exactly 3 months! YAY!

Markolfa es mi linda gatita. I love hummus!

I am not a licensed attorney. I am not a "notaria". I am a volunteer on this website and my goal is to learn, discover and exchange useful ideas, opinions and insight. I'm not ashamed of expressing what I know and asking what I don't know. Nothing I say should be interpreted as legal advice. I encourage you to consult a responsible attorney before making any final decision. Please inform me if I've given any insight in error.
