Question Do I have 2 wait for confirmation from NVC before I….

So after I paid the AOS Bill and the IV bill.. I have a a few short questions. Hope someone will be able to answer.

The Immigration Visa page takes me to a link that gives me instructions on what to do next. It says that after I pay the AOS bill, NVC will contact me. It actually says this

“After the petitioner (sponsor) has paid the Affidavit of Support processing fee, the petitioner (sponsor) is contacted by the NVC. You are ready for the next step in the immigration process, which is to download the necessary forms, complete them, and then submit them for the purpose of sponsoring the intending immigrant.”

“After receiving notification from the NVC to download the Affidavit of Support Instructions, take the following actions:

Warning: Do not take any action described below without authorization from the NVC. Taking action without the NVC's authorization could result in a delay in processing. “

So I sure I will be downloading the I-864EZ. It applies to us.

So I really have to wait for confirmation from NVC, or can I just download now. Does it make a big difference? I have a copy of my last 2 taxes w/w-2’s and my employment letter.
Anyways, any input would be appreciated. My question is the same for the IV form. Do I have to wait for confirmation or do they mail me that form with some special barcode on it? Thanks ladies and gents!

I feel we are making great progress and I would appreciate any helpful tips or advice.
    Mrs. Delacruz

If you are able to print the cover letter online, it means that your payment was processed, so you dont have to wait for the NVC. Just download the form, print the cover letter and make sure you include the supporting documents. I used the I864EZ too. Good Luck!

They will send you a barcode with the form, but you are more than welcome to go ahead and download everything. You'll just want to be sure to send it back with the coverpage.

Once your AOS fee shows PAID online you can print out the Barcoded coversheet and send in your I-864(A,EZ,etc) and then once your IV fee shows PAID online you can print out that barcoded coversheet and send in you DS-230. Don't wait for NVC, the snail mail will slow you down. I only waited for the first letter because it had that code you need for the online payment thing, Othere than that if you have it ready and your Barcoded coversheet.... send it in!!!! Best of Luck!!!
