Maybe you should ask the mods to make this a sticky to help Walgreens shoppers. I'll be posting a CVS one really soon myself. Great job!

Thanks for the info about the activity book...that's a new one to me too...

Also, something I have learned is that on Saturdays (at least at all the Walgreens near me) they take off their sale tags and put the next week's up. So, Saturday afternoon/evening you can get both weeks sales...BUT, it can be frustrating, because you have to really know what you are looking for because not all the tags will be there...I actually prefer going during the week when the sale tags are up..it means a trip ever week, but I am still new at this, so keeping track of one week's deals is enough for me. I went to WAG's this past weekend for double dipping days and it was cool, but a bit overwhelming...

Also, I have found that the cashiers at the cosmetics counter are much nicer and more helpful with the coupons. AND, you usually don't have someone waiting behind you with just a gallon of milk giving you dirty looks while you have them ring up coupons, etc.

i am still amazed at the great deals I have been able to get...I don't think I'll ever pay full-price for things like toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant etc. I have a stash of 4 toothbrushes now that I got all for free...cool!

You're right about the cosmetics counter.. AND you are actually helping them. They have certain products each month that they get a sort of comission off of.. Like last month it was the Pantene Shampoo that had the $5 rebate.. When I bought them the cosmetics girl even told me she would ring me up.. she was soooo nice and told me she loved to watch couponers get their good deals.. and that it didn't cost her anything. She was great!
BUT today I had problems with a cosmetics lady.. I guess there's always a few, but for the most part cosmetics are great!

You're right about Saturdays.. I think at about 7:00 they have the new sales in the computer. Now if they only would give out RR's too.. But it does give you the benefit of having first pick at all products before the shelves are wiped out. When the REach toothbrushes and mouthwash were on sale I could never find any and I went on Monday.

I did notice they were nicer at the cosmetic. I thought it was just because they were bored. I'm gonna try to stick those counters.

You right about the sales being gone fast. One time I went sunday night and a lot of the stuff were wiped out!

marlene, only on certain days, usually the last Friday and Saturday of the month, if they continue to do it this way.

    Always watch the clearance items!!
the other day I found Robitussin marked down to 99cents, buy 3 get $10 RR (runs for another month I believe)
Also, today I found some Vicks early defense hand sanitizer for 88cents (I had a .55 coupon off of one) making it 33 cents each!
