the oath ceremony

ok so i had my appointment scheduled for 10:30 am at montebello california court house i left home at 7:00 to make sure i got there in time its a two hour drive from home to montebello. i arrive around 9:00 there is a ton of cars coming in to that same place . people telling you where to park and charging 10$. they tell me to park on the curve. i see a big line formed outside and down the sidewalk. i go line up and was there in 107 degree weather for about 45 minutes they finally take us in . they take my green card and put a big number on my appointment letter they send us off into the court room (908 peoples plus many guests supper crowded room) judge comes in tells a story congratulates every1 say the oath and pledge of alligence . they showed us two videos one from the president and we hear a couple of speeches from immigration officers. then a lady sings the national anthem. they ask the guests to exit the court room . we register to vote and then we exit the court room . we go to the table numbered with the number writen on our appointment letter and they hand us our certificate ...... i go find my family waiting for me with flowers and a cover for my new certificate.. we left the place at about 12:30 and had lunch at olive garden the end ... im so happy cant wait till i get to vote
