    Great tips LilB!!!

The key to saving with coupons is to cut as many as you can for things you actually use and save the coupons for when the item is at its lowest price. Shop at a store that doubles or triples coupons and whenever possible, combine a manufacturer coupon with store coupon!!

Now, get out there and start saving!!

LilB, If you sign up for the $10 weekly email thingy, do they email you the spectific sales for your area for the upcoming week on Thursday? Do they know what will be on special for the upcoming week?

What is included in that email? Do you find it beneficial?

I used to coupon etc. but have not done it for years. This may be a good thing to teach my DIL. I just might give it a shot.

Thanks for all of your helpful information!

Do you actually use everything you buy? I have looked at the coupons in the Sunday paper in the past but there is vary rarely anything in there that we would use. There are coupons for things that just won't get eaten/used in our house like chips and frozen foods. Cleaning products I don't have storage space for.No matter what I try I just can't get away from the store for less than 100 every week. I buy my meat at Sam's because I can't stand wal-marts meat and the other store overwhelm with their meat sales. I just don't know what should be a good price and what isn't. I want to save money on our grocery bill every week but just don't know how when I can't seem to find coupons for the stuff we actually do use.

For stuff you do use, get on their mailing list and you'll receive coupons from them. Also, go to Marie's thread of online coupons and see if any on there are good for you to use.

I am getting motivated...when we first got married I was pretty good about clipping and using coupons and have always used for diapers/wipes/baby stuff. It is very satisfying to save half of a grocery bill with coupons....I need to get back on the wagon!
