Costs of Going to Juarez

For those who have been to Juarez for the Visa Interview. How much did it cost? I know we've got hotel, food, medical and fingerprints. But, what was your costs because we want to know how much we are going to need.

Well when we went we spent roughly $1,350 USD, we spend $450 roundtrip airfare for 2 people, $160 for 3 nights 4 days at the IBIS hotel, $392 USD for medical exam, $45 for the taxi roundtrip to the airport in CJS and to eat you can add another 60-100 dollars depending on where you go. This is not counting the casetas we had to pay to get to the airport in GDL and back home so you can add another $65 dollars plus gas $50.

That was our cost the 1st trip, the 2nd trip was almost the same since the waiver fee is $585 just take away the $160 for the hotel and just add $45 for one night.

Make sure your husband takes low denominations, meaning dont carry $500 pesos instead opt for the lower denominations such as 20, 50 and 100. OUr taxi driver told us this informtion because thats when they know you are carrying more money and always carry it loose dont take out your wallet in front of other and have that money just in your pocket.
