Huge doubt... What should I do??? Looking for advises

    Hey friends,

So... Back in US since last September, I've been working as a nanny just to be able to save some money while still studying English once that mine is good but not as good as I want.

But 2012 has come and I've got some resolutions to accomplish... And I definitelly need some adivises...

Here's the deal... I'm a lawyer in Brazil (my home country) and also have 2 post graduations (I don't know how you guys named it here... I guess is master degree....but I don't know for sure) ... Anyways... i have all these diplomas and I'm thinking about taking them to be evaluated and recognized here in US... but my big doubt is... Should I look for a better job opportunity based on these diplomas (my education) or should I do a paralegal course? I don't know what to do because... I understand that paralegal is a tecnical course and I would means steping back for my in certain point but on the other hand... I'm a lawyer in Brazil but I have no clue about how the laws and all the juridical things go here in US, or to be more specific in Florida, so i think the paralegal would be a good first step for me...

    What do you guys think?

What is going to be more financially reasonable???

Thanks in advance for all the tips

In some states, a person who is a lawyer elsewhere is able to get an LLM degree (essentially a Master's Degree in law), take a bar exam and practice. I know New York recognizes this. LLMs usually take a year to a year & a half.
