Anyone heard of or used a Thundershirt for their dog??

My cousin wrote on facebook that she ordered a Thundershirt for her dog and I had never heard of it so I googled it and now I am very interested! One of our dogs is very hyper and has a barking problem and I'm wondering if this thundershirt actually works!? It is supposed to provide constant pressure on the dog and make them feel more secure and relieve stress. I might just order one...it's only $40...with free shipping promo. Anyone used one or heard of it??

    Here's the webiste....http://www.thundershirt.com/lpc2/

No..it doesn't. That's why I'm interested in it! We have a bark collar...and he gets a shock when he barks but I hate it and feel so bad putting it on him. But it does work!

I've no heard no complaints by anyone that has used them. I gave one to a friend and her dog absolutely loves it and has helped him.

I've not read through this but I'd seen it and your question reminded me. You might also google search for other links pertaining to thundershirt and barking problems and see what others have to say aside from this site.
There's a lot of links here and a lot of info regarding sizing, how the shirt works, etc. The chest size is more important than the length and they discussed the larger breeds as well.
There was one question where it was an in-between size and I think they advised to go down a size. If ever in doubt you can call them. They do have a size chart to explain.

Anyone heard of or used a Thundershirt for their dog??

I actually purchased a thunder shirt shortly after posting this question! It works great!! My dog doesn't have issues with storms or separation anxiety, but is just very very hyper. When he has the shirt on he is like a whole different dog! Without it he is constantly in your face begging for attention and just going crazy..with it on he just lays nicely and likes to cuddle! I don't know how it does it but I'm definitely a fan of it!
