Please keep my family in your prayers. My uncle was diagnosed with cancer in November. The week before Christmas we learned it had spread to his lungs. He started radiation therapy last week. On Tuesday his radiation treatment was cancelled due to shortness of breath and he needed a blood transfusion. Yesterday the doctor called my cousin to tell her the cancer has spread to his liver and there is nothing more they can do for him. They said he has days/weeks left. We are all just heartbroken. Everything has happened so quickly from diagnosis until now.

March 18 2009: Civil ceremony
January 2010: Our daughter is born
March 2010: Reconsult attorney, decide to move forward with immigration process
June 21 2011: Hubby leaves for Mexico
July 6 2011: Visa interview, eligible for Waiver
Aug 23 2011: Waiver appt now just waiting!
Oct 27 2011: My daughter and I are going to see Daddy in Mexico
Dec 16 2011: Receive APPROVAL letter from Monterrey dated 12/1! We waited almost 16 weeks for our initial decision
Jan 14 2011: HOME!

Dec. 2, 2011: Medical Exam at 11am
Dec. 5, 2011: Visa Interview at 8:30am...Eligible for waiver!!!
Dec. 27, 2011: Waiver Turned In
July 9, 2012: Waiver Approved
July 20,2012: Updated info sent in
July 25,2012: Got email, visa will be ready tomorrow at 3:30!!
Aug. 2, 2012: Hubby is home!!!!!
Aug. 13,2012: SS Card Arrived!
Aug. 16,2012: Welcome Letter Arrived!

How is he doing? I have been praying. My aunt got a serious cancer diagnosis this year and my grandpa just got one, too, so this issue is definitely something familiar. Keep us updated.
