Ready for good news on sunday? My waiver has been approved!!

GOD IS GREAT!! YES!!

My wife just arrived home from her visit to El Salvador and found the Notice of Approval in the mail. The letter is dated Sept. 12th.!!

I just wanted to share this excellent news with all of you right away.

5/2003 - EWI to US
7/2008 - Met my wife
10/2/2009 - Married at courthouse
12/2009 - Filed I-130
3/2010 - I-130 Approved
8/13/2010 - Recieved notice from NVC that more info was needed (Police record from ES, marriage cert, etc)
9/29/2010 - Recieved same notice as above (Info was "not recieved at NVC the first time)
1/19/2011 - Recieved interview date of 2/25/11
2/21/2011 - MD appt
2/25/2011 - First interview at Embassy
3/04/2011 - Went to file I-601 Waiver but was put in AP for tattoos (pictures of tattoos taken at Embassy). Could not file waiver til further notice...
4/04/2011 - Called to check on status of case..was told they were waiting for me to have pictures taken of tattoos...WHAT?????? Told them it was done already and they told me to check again in a few weeks.
5/9/2011 - Called to check on status. Was told to bring waiver in the following week.
5/17/2011 - WAIVER FILED
6/14/2010 - waiver recieved by DHS
9/12/2010 - WAIVER APPROVED

So your wife was visiting you in El Salvador and found the approval letter as soon as she arrived home?

That's right! When she was here, we thought about going or calling the embassy, but decided to give it a week or two more. She called me this morning with the news and emailed me the letter. We already had a little party over the phone
