    "Which way home?"

    If anyone has HBO on demand you should def watch this documentary about migrant children that travel through Mexico to cross the US border. It follows a group of four young men, it is extremely heart breaking and makes you realize what a risk people make to come to this country. Just my recommendation.
    2/05 Hubby try's to ewi but is caught and sent back/crosses ewi 2 days later.
    12/06 met mi media naranja we start dating a month later.
    06/08 Marry my hubby by civil have small reception
    06/10 send FP to FBI and FOIA 08/10 Both results show no record
    09/10 File I-130,1/28/11 Approved 11/13/10 We get married by church
    2/5/11 Received NVC case#paid fee of $88.00 2/20/11 Sent in DS-261
    3/23/11 Paid fee of $404.00 and sent in I-864ez email to NVC
    5/16/11 submitted DS-260 online emailed NVC supporting documents.
    6/15/11 Case Closed!
    8/4/11 1st Appointment in CJS, eligible to file waiver
    9/13/11 Waiver Appointment in CJS now we wait
    12/15/11 Received Approval letter!
    2/3/12 Approval finally in the system one day after Hubby's medical expired.
    2/11/12 Hubby finally home.

    My boyfriend and I watched this Saturday night after your recommendation and it was so good! And you weren't kidding, very heartbreaking. I also recommend it, if you have HBO

    I tried to watch it. Got emotional within the first 5 min. So I thought it would be best I don't watch it right now. (might just be pregnancy hormones)

    I loved watching this!! It is very eye opening to the reality of why and what they go thru just to get here.
    12/2006- met hubby and began dating
    06/03/2010- detained by ICE
    01/07/2011- Married in Honduras
    5/31/2011- I-130 received
    09/26/2011- I-130 approved
    6/06/12- NVC case completed
    7/26/12- Visa interview/given the ok to file I-601 waiver...

    01/26/2013- lawyer mailed off waiver to Lockbox
    02/05/2013- waiver recieved

    Agreed and was constantly thinking of my hubby's nephew who is Brazilian but travelled from Guatemala through Mexico because he came after Brazilians needed a visa to land in Mexico. Of course as an adult he was not in nearly the same situation as the kids in this documentary. Wow.

    Update: Aug 27, 2012- approved to file waiver
    Not returning to Brazil after all
    October 22, 2012- Mailed waiver to lockbox
    October 24, 2012- Waiver rcv'd in Pheonix
    October 29, 2012- Received email and text that waiver accepted and routed to Nebraska
    March 2013- e-service request for being over processing time
    March 26, 2013- receive email stating case was with officer and decision is coming in 60 days
    May 2, 2013- spoke with Teir 2 officer who told us to wait 30 more days for decision
    May 27, 2013- will be 1 year since kids have seen their father- have mercy!
