    When I sent my I130, I also sent the G1145 (I think it is) in order to be notified by email about updates. I received notification by email and then I received something in the mail later. I am guessing that I received the email since I filled out the form and sent it along with the I130.

    September 27 '12- Visa issued on September 26th- Waybill in transit!!
    September 28 '12- Husband will pick up Visa
    October 5 '12- Husband will come home- Thank you God!!!!!!

    any news of them finding the file? i believe this is what has happened to me as well! tomorow i will be doint the same thing as you sending them the approval letter to see if they can locate my files that noone can seem to find, this is so ridiculous and i knew it ws taking longer than normal!

    I received the nvc case number and I got my approval letter on 8/31/2011 they are actually working faster now
    Our Timeline

    August/1999- Husband EWI
    March/2006- Met Hubby in church
    November/2008- Married the love of my life
    March/2009- Our first baby girl was born
    September/2010- Our second baby girl was born
    March/2011- Hired Attorney Laura Fernandez
    May/2011- I-130 Sent
    May/16/2011- USCIS received my petition
    May/23/2011- I-130 Receipt received
    August/31/2011- NOA1 Approved
    September/26/2011- NVC case number assigned (After 28 days of my approval)
    September/27/2011- Waiting until my husband's tattoo removal sessions end so we can continue with the process
