Back in the days, when people (myself included) come to the US for a visit, it was possible to extend the 3 month that were granted upon entry.
All what people had to do was, going to the next USCIS...

on the N400 instructions it does ask for tax transcripts... it even gives out the phone nr to the irs where transcrips can be ordered.

Why dont u just get the Tax transcripts? its like a summary and that is what they are asing for according to the instructions.

to be on the safe side i would wait another 3 month if u just got back from ur 5.5 month vacation.

u just need ur marriage certificate and go to the dmv and show that. they can change the name for u and also go to the ssa.
