I would have been here with him from the time he was backlogged if our situation permitted, but I waited 5 months to tie loose strings. We lost all material things, but i wouldn't have had it any other way.

The open appointments for visa pickup are usually around 8-11 weeks after approval I believe. On average, the letter comes 5-7 weeks after the approval and yesterday was our 4 week mark so it shouldn't be too much longer.
