Hey hun I was wondering if you husband was able to send his passport back same day as he got his first packet/waybill, and did he send anything with the passport back to CDJ?

It depends on where your case is adjudicated. Since CDJ became backed up with cases they sent cases to California, Texas and Mex City. If you are approved out of CDJ you will be notified by a letter by mail to your US address and then you have to wait to be put into the system at CDJ and have the consulate issue a Visa. If you are approved in CDJ then you will find out by calling the 703# or 202# and they will tell you you are approved and if you are they will send you your passport with the Visa in it. In some instances, if you didn't give in your passport or your medical/passport is about to expire then they will send you a DHL package with instruction letting you know you are approved and instructions on what to do. You can fly out of anywhere in Mexico to an international airport in the US. My husband flew out of Mexico City to New york without any problems

We just got our I-130 approval, so I am really happy about that!! A little over 5 and a half months for that, but now hopefully we will get to the NVC and interview with in the next 2 or 3 months..

Any news on the waiver yet Shebaling?? Praying that you and your husband get a quick approval and can head home!

No, I am not going for the interview. Depending on when his Waiver appt is, I may try to get a couple days off of work and fly to El Paso, cross and spend a day or two and come back home. It is really hard, I just started my job in September after being unemployed for 42 weeks. We are financially drained and I just don't have the time available to take off, or the money to do it. He just made it to his pueblo tonight he is so happy. I hope his spirits stay up.

Hubby is leaving this week. I haven't been on much. Preoccupied .. trying to get everything ready.
