I know Mandee told me before, but my head is just spinning with all this stuff, so I need to know again! Does anyone have a bondsman they would recommend? I know the laws are different for immigration... I need a cosigner or something. Like, do I give the bondsman 15% of the bond amount-- and then have someone (who actually has collateral) co-sign with me so that the bonding company will give a certified check to get my husband out?

Was he even able to post bond, and why was he picked up? Just for curiosity purposes.

Don't know if he can post bond yet... we haven't had a bond hearing scheduled.
He was picked up from a state prison by ICE... he served 6 months for a non-aggravated felony: "failure to stop for accident."

That really sucks, Im so sorry to hear about that. I hope he doesnt have to stay much longer, 6 months prison term for not stopping at an accident that seems a little harsh, was someone hurt badly or something?

It looks like they charge between 15-20% for immigration cases, and yes you just need a cosigner with the collateral.
I found this one online, but I can't make a specific recommendation.

Melissa~ Yes, unfortunately someone was hurt, and I feel terrible for them... my husband is completely ashamed and remorseful. My husband was actually hurt the worst out of everyone-- but I guess he kinda deserved it since he was driving without a lisence. I am just glad everyone is alive and well...
helloyou-- thanks so much for the link! I will be looking into that company!
