I just got in a couple of days ago and it seems real cool. It's for people who like to knit and/or crochet. You sign up and they send you an invite later. Mine took about a week and a half. It's free. :thumbup:

I just joined a couple other knitting/crochet websites, but I can't think of what they are right now. lol
When I am home I'll see if I have them bookmarked and let you know.
One I go get free patterns from all the time is lionbrand.com. You have to sign up, but they have tons of patterns.

It's really cool. I wish they'd let people see what it looks like before they've signed up, but the don't.

You can add in the projects you're working on or have finished. List the yarn you're using and pictures of the project, where you got your pattern, how much you've gotten done on it, etc.. You can can add in all your stashed yarns with pics and all. List all the books you have. Join groups. There's tons of groups. Then you can talk in your group and share your projects and stash.

I don't know, it's hard to explain it all, but it's cool.

One that I like is knittingdaily.com. It's not a forum like that but they do have some nice patterns!

Yes, just got it today, but haven't had time to do anything with it just yet as I've been working on gathering the last few things and writing my letter for the HSL today.

All my knitting buddies are on Ravelry, but I just don't have time right now!! I knit constantly before the backlog, but this single mom just does not have time at the moment!

I was knitting the sleeve of a sweater the morning of hubby's waiver interview. I'll never forget the moment he appeared back at the hotel door with the bad news. I was mid-row and dropped the project right there. I didn't finish that row for a month!! Finally, now my CDJ sweater is finished, but I have not started anything new since. No time or money and hands full with my demanding son!

Hopefully, later this year hubby will be home and I will have free time again!
