I'm so excited. I want to cry and shout, but I thank the lord for bringing us together once again! My husband went back to the Consulate in Guatemala to turn in his medical exam for his DUI, and the CO told him to come back tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. to pick up his VISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm schoked and thrilled.
In Guatemala they give you numbers to enter inside the Consulate my hubby was #29, he got lucky because they last number that they issued was #30.
Thank you everybody for your help:bounce:

YRuth: You didn't have to file a waiver, correct? As I understand your case, your husband went back to Guatemala when they denied his political asylum; however, he never had to file a I-601 because he was here legally until they denied his asylum application.

YRuth,
My husband had his interview yesterday, I'm sure that we were there the same time as your husband.
What time did your husband arrive in order to be able to submit the doctor's results? The line that he had to wait in was so long and its the same line that we'll have to wait in to submit our waiver next week. I'm worried about getting there early enough to be one of the first 35 people. Anything we can do to avoid another trip to the capital is worth it.
And, congratulations on his approval! I wish things would be that easy for us.
