I'm filling out the I-129F for my husband who EWI in 2004. He's still here in the US, so I'm wondering if I should fill out question 12 which says "If your fiance(e) is currently in the US, complete the following:" then it asks how they entered, then asks for Arrival/Departure Record Number, date of arrival, as well as the date the authorized stay expired. Should I put that he entered EWI and the date he arrived and mark the other two questions "n/a"?

One more question...Question 15 asks for the spouse's address abroad. Will they send any forms or info to this address? Or will they all come to our address in the US?

How did y'all handle these questions?

I have not filed the I129 - but I do believe that they will in fact send paperwork to the address abroad, unless you ar working with a lawyer. I am not 100%, but I do remember reading about this in the past, and it is one of the reasons that we decided not to file the I129 and just wait out the I130.

I am not sure how to help you with the other question, but hopefully someone else will chime in!!

Hi there Whitney, welcome to the I-129F club ! :)

You should definitely include an address abroad for you fiance. Once you've received the NOA2 (approval of the I-129F) and your case is forwarded to the consulate, they will eventually send the fiance packet to both your address in the US and your fiance's address abroad.

I would say that you should mark EWI and the date and n/a for the other items, like you said.

Yes, they do send it to the address abroad- we did I-129f for a spouse. Actually, the packet sent to Mexico arrived first!
