Urgent help needed

I wanted to mail in my paperwork by tomorrow to try and beat the deadline for the new fees, I have however misplaced our marriage licence and cannot find it, I have pretty much spent all weekend looking for it. Would it be wise to mail in the forms including all other supporting documents including our children's birth certificates and then mail it afterwards when they request it. We have been married for 5 years. Should i mention that it is lost and we are in the process of getting a copy or not mention it at all.

I would mail it - they'll send you an RFE but you'll beat the fee increase if you get it postmarked today.

Normally I would advise against it, and to wait and send everything together to avoid confusion and delays. However, after taking a look at those fee increases (OMG! I couldn't BELIEVE the increase! Especially for the I-485), I say go ahead and send it! Just be prepared for a RFE and possible delay.
