FOIA check - 9/2006 - lawyer said preliminary finding was no record in Dec. 2006
FBI check - 1/2007 - came back in April - no record
USCIS - 1-130 Petition for IR/CR Visa
5/22/2007 - Mailed I-130 to NSC
5/23/2007 - Received at NSC
Transfered to CSC sometime following 5/23/2007
6/8/2007 - NOA1 received from CSC
10/31/2007 - APPROVED - 162 days from filing (5+ months or so)
11/7/207 - Received NOA2 in the mail
NVC Process
11/14/2007 - Case received at NVC and new case number assigned
11/26/2007 - AOS (affidavit of support) and IV fee bills generated
12/3-5 (?)/2007 - Lawyers office receives AOS and IV bills
12/6/2007 - Received instruction from Lawyer regarding AOS/IV bills
12/7/2007 - Sent AOS/IV bills (money orders) back to Lawyer
12/17/2007 - NVC generated documents and will send out (assuming it is the I-864 and DS-230)

I know I am replying to my own thread - hehe - I just want to celebrate a little that I actually get to update my timeline more now - and not just once every 6 months!! :)

We had several issues in obtaining husband's certified birth certificates and his passport, which is why there is a 2 month delay in us returning the DS-230/I-864 and supporting documents to our lawyer's office.
