This is horrible..and worst is I want to help so bad but i have no idea what do do. His g/f called me an hour ago saying they arrested him to be deported. Hes been here over 6 years atleast... he was legal then got into trouble right before he got his green card and they revoked it. Hes been on probation for 3 years and has done nothing wrong since.. just work. Is anyone else in the same situation?
Ive searched the internet a good bit and found that with felony record he has almost no chance for staying... but is there anything or anywhere someone knows that i can get information for him? I dont understand why they would do this now and since he still has 2 years on probation can they even deport him now? If you know anything please tell me im really frustrated and confused about it :bluesad:

it happened 4 years ago... i believe he ended up charged with 3 burglaries, fleeing and eluding and speeding. I know its to early to tell anything but i'll try to find out as much as i can so i can help him out.

I hate to say that but there is no hope for his case. Bulglaries is a Aggravated falony and there is no waiver for that. I dont think anyone can save him at this point. In some cases class C falony is eligible for waiver due to nature of the crime but aggravated falony is very bad. Sorry but good luck.

All of this kind of confuses me. I have a friend on his 3rd strike serving time for attempted murder (ok really we are not that close of friends, but I know him) and he has not been deported. He has a green card.
Sorry about your situation.

He is doing jail time currently - he's likely to be processed through immigration jail and then deported.

His green card will be taken away at the end of his sentence and he will be deported to his country of origin
