I've only read the first one (http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product?item_no=730488&event=CF)

but OMG guys I'm serious.. if there is ever a book that you will relate to it's this one.. The story is so beautiful.. and I had never seen a book before about someone having an illegal husband ! I am not good at writing reviews but just try this book it made me cry so many times..

We need to start a book club so we can all read this and have a chat about the books we read !!

I want to read these...but one question...are they like harlequin romances? That's what they reminded me of? Or are they more meaningful and substantive?

They seemed much more meaningful to me.. the first book starts out with her as a lawyer being asked to fight on behalf of the large companies who are deporting illegals without paying them.. and it's about her moral conflict and her rich snobby parent's reaction to her quitting to become a "public defender" ..

I haven't read it yet but the second book is about her son's autism and how life doesn't always end up perfectly.

It's all true so it follows real life and not really some fantasy..
