Ok so my husband was suppose to call me yesterday or today in the morning, after 1pm. I called the jail. They said he's not there. How do I find out where they sent him?? Are they able to use the telephone realitivly easy or not very much?? They told him he wouldn't go to georgia til this week. I'm so worried they just sent him back to mexico even though he told them he wanted to go to court. I tried calling all these offices and no one is there, i even tried the detention center our lawyer said he must likely would get sent to, they even aren't open (i thought detention centers always had someone answering the phone) I don't know what to do!!!!

Mandee don't worry he HAS to see a judge so he's not deported..call the jail and ask them if they have any record of where he was transfered too....look up ICE main number in Georgia and call them someone surpose t know.

yea everything is voicemails. I would think there would be someone at the facility because you can call the state jail at any time to ask if someone if there. but i tried the jail where the lawyer said he'd probably be sent and that was all voicemails too. I'm just worried cause he hasn't called, and i don't know how he will be able to or when.

Well at some detetion centers you can't call unless you se up an account with the phone company that has the contract for the phones at the detention center OR some have phone cards you gotta buy.

how do you find out if there're at one of those places? especially when you can't even find them!

If you know his A# call this number 1-800-898-7180 and enter his number and it should tell you his info.

I would call every ICE number in that state and see if i get someone and give them his A# and they will look it up in the computer and maybe they would know.

Well if he was moved, it was probably friday right? cause i don't know if they move during the weekend. So he should've been able to call today, its probably an 8 hour or more ride from here to georgia, unless they sent him far far away.

I know, Its just hard when you're so worried, if our lawyer could've got him a continuance we would've had all his papers filed and pending, then they would probably drop the case at court because the I485 would've been pending.
