This German movie is the original version of the American romantic comedy "No Reservations" with Aaron Eckhart and Catherine Zeta-Jones that came out in 2007. The European version is more subtle and less flashy and IMHO really, really good. My husband and I both having long histories in restaurants loved the setting and both enjoyed the relationships that developed between the main character -- an obsessive, uptight chef, her 8-year-old niece and the laid-back Italian chef who begins working at the restaurant.
