I say it is assimilating very well to life in the U.S. right now...
It will only be an issue for your naturalization if you have been arrested or convicted relating to money. Having outstanding bills or bad credit is not a reason to deny your application.
There are specific questions on N-400 if you fail to file taxes and if you owe taxes that are overdue. If you answer yes, you need to provide an explanation and supporting documentation.
There is also a question if you fail or refuse to pay child support to evidence a poor moral character.

No, it shouldn't affect it. I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually change that though. rolleyes

Having bad credit does not make you ineligible to naturalize.
