Hi guys, I'm helping a friend with her AOS package. I have some questions, please! These were probably asked a thousand times before, but the threads are all gone :( Lets see:

Regarding the G-325a, can you fill it out once and make 3 copies, or does each have to be an original. I'm thinking copies should be acceptable since they used to use carbon paper, but I don't want to take the chance.

I know you have to get to sets of photos, one for each application (I-130 & I-485), but how about G-325a, both the I-130 and I-485 require it. Will one set be enough, or should I include 2 sets? Likewise with the necessity for copies of Birth Certificate.

Has anyone filled out forms in blue ink instead of black? what happened?

With the G-325A you will notice that each page is slightly different at the bottom.

There are no photos required with the G-325A. The photos are submitted with the I-130 petition and I-485 application. In fact, everything submitted including the G-325A's are submitted in support of the petition and application.

You should submit a complete I-130 package and a complete I-485 package.

I don't imagine that it matters on the blue/black pen, but anything official is generally required to be completed in black ink, so sticking with that philosophy could be safer bet. Signing in blue ink can be a good thing as there has been reports in the past of signatures in black ink being erronously mistaken for photocopies and an RFE issued.

when i did the aos package for my stepson i used the downloaded pdf files. on the g325 i filled out the the first sheet and the rest filled out itself. if i remember correctly the only one i couldnt save was the i-485. i had to print that one right away. read the directions carefully. i used a hilighter to mark all required evidence so i would miss anything. from the time i mailed the package to the time he got his greencard was less than 7 months.

aussiewench is right. You have to fill out each form of the G325A separately. They are actually different forms (look at the slight variation at the bottom), but just have the same information. dgman is right. You can download the pdf that fills out the G325A for you. You type it in the computer on the first page, and it automatically fills it in on the rest. I think you can get it here:
