Drawing...

Lovin the hobbies section...today is the first time i've checked it out. (Thanks for borhoquez-hope i spelled that right) Not only do I love photography, but I also love art... I haven't really done any painting, but I've done lots of drawing mainly pencil/charcoal drawings. I have a few uploaded on photobucket... only 3.. but at my house I have a huge portfolio FULL of stuff! Maybe sometime soon I can get a couple more pictures..

I have this on my wall in my room. My room has a beach theme... and I'm into all things surf-y/beach-y. Charcoal/pencil

Totally charcoal. I did this for my friend Matt for his birthday. He brought me the photo, I made it into a poster-size drawing. I'm not really happy with the background.. I kinda slacked off on it because I was tired.. that was supposed to be rocks and beach in the background but uhhhh yeah. NOT so good lol.

This one is also on my wall... I want to make one of a surfer dude with boardshorts facing the opposite direction for the other side of my bed so it can be somewhat symmetrical lol.

So yeah.. my favorite piece of art is also on my wall... it's of this african american man wearing a big poofy jacket... half of it is a magazine and the other half I drew with pencil.. and added color using colored pencils. It's so cool!

Wow Kiki you are very talented with drawing and photos. You would get a long great with my sister, jessica. She loves this stuff and is really good at it too.

Hahaha yeah Jenny it can be a big mess... sometimes when I stop I've got charcoal all over my face and black hands!!

This is that other one I was talking about.. it was hard to get a good picture without glare cuz I have it in a frame, but yeah.. one of my all-time faves. I did that in 9th grade.

An art model huh... are you one of those ppl that comes in and strips for everybody? :D The first time someone came to my class and did that I was shocked! My professor didn't tell anyone and this woman just came in wearing a robe...got up on the stage thing in the center of the room and stripped. :shocked: If I was warned about it I wouldn't have cared but MAN! hahaha... anyway, thank you for the compliment and I'm glad you like my stuff!! :)
