OK, So me and my husband are on our immigration journey, but this question has nothing to do with us.
My brother in law filed an I-130 for his sister back before April 2001. It was approved, so she has like a 12-14 year wait for a visa number to become available to her. She wants to know if she is able to get a work permit or have her current employer assist her in speeding up this process? Is there anything that she can do (marriage is not an option) to speed up her GC process?
