Okay I am not sure if this is where I need to post this question but if there is anyone who may know this answer or have any suggestions. I would really appreciate all the help.

Here is my question? My brother in-law has been illegally in the United States for a really long time, he has 3 minor children who also entered illegally about 3 years ago. He also has 2 sons from a previous marriage that are U.S Citizens who just turned 18 years old. Would they be able to adjust the immigration status for their father and step-brothers. thanks

A USC must be 21 in order to petition for a parent or sibling. Not sure if step-brothers qualify or not.

kitkat,
Good question. I'm not sure either, the only not blood related petion I think is the stepfather sponsoring his minor stepchild. But for brother's it's usually blood related and they have to proove it with a birth certificate.
Also, if they all entered illegally, the do not qualify to receive the PR in the US.
